Raiyan Siddique is the CTO and co-founder of Biotech Wallah Pvt. Ltd., where he leads all engineering for Zero Dementia — India's first multimodal cognitive screening platform. He also runs Convolity AI, an AI-first software consultancy.
At Biotech Wallah, Raiyan architected and built the entire technology stack from scratch: a Flutter-based clinical capture application that records voice, eye movement, facial micro-expressions and cognitive task responses at controlled sample rates; a signal processing pipeline using openSMILE, MediaPipe Face Mesh, and librosa to extract 187 biomarkers per session; a Node.js + PostgreSQL backend with Redis, Celery, and Airflow for orchestration; and the ML training and inference infrastructure on AWS SageMaker.
The platform's core insight is that acoustic biomarkers — jitter, shimmer, prosody, pause structure — are properties of the vocal tract, not vocabulary. They shift years before clinical symptoms appear, and they work identically across all languages. This makes smartphone-based screening possible for 1.4 billion people who were previously unreachable by English-only, clinician-administered tools.
Before Zero Dementia, Raiyan built hearAI — a deafness and hearing screening system with custom hardware — for a neurosurgeon at one of India's top government hospitals. That collaboration opened the clinical access that made the company possible: ethics approval at three hospitals, a government-granted office inside a hospital, and paired MoCA/MMSE ground truth for validation.
He has delivered 30+ production systems across healthcare, fintech, and developer tooling — including IRIS-OS (an AI-native ERP with 389 MCP-exposed tools), PRESAGE (cardiac deterioration prediction from wearable signals, validated on MIMIC-IV), wegomeds.com (healthcare logistics), and IndiaWeatherStack (weather-intelligence API for an IIT Delhi-incubated startup).
Raiyan co-authored four research papers currently under review at BMC Digital Health and Springer journals, covering explainable AI in medical imaging, cancer surveillance registries, and drug interaction prediction. He holds a provisional patent on multimodal biomarker fusion as co-inventor.
